I believe that a company is not about the technology, but about the people that make that technology work. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, and as a former business-owner, I understand the need to balance idealism with pragmatism when solving real-world problems. I believe in giving teams the guidance and tools they need to grow and create their own solutions. My experience as a teacher has given me the necessary skills to listen to what people need and explain my solutions in clear terms. I am an advocate of efficiency, TDD (Test-Driven Development) and XP (eXtreme Programming) and my experience with automation and CI/CD has given me a real passion in these areas.
